The bayonet has a chequered grip which is riveted in place.

The ricasso is stamped with the makers name A. Evertz of Solingen, quite a rare maker, even more so for combat bayonets.

*Condition*

The release catch works well, the blade is clean. The scabbard has loss of paint.

*Dimensions*

The bayonet is 32 cm (12.5 inch) in length with a 19 cm (7.5 inch) blade.
