~ c1927 Silver Mounted Desk Clock ~

The clock is mounted in a sterling silver ring over a barley twist column, mounted on a wide base with a silver collar and three feet.

The silver base collar is hallmarked for Birmingham 1927 with a makers mark of Turner & Simpson Ltd, with the clock ring collar being simply marked "STERLING".

~ Condition ~

The clock is in good running order and adjusts (a replacement key is included for the later). There is some loss of veneer to the top back of the clock. The silver work is very tidy.

~ Dimensions ~

The clock is 20 cm (8 inches) tall with a base diameter of 11 cm (4.25 inches) and a face diameter of 4.8 cm (1.8 inches). It weighs 0.425 Kg.
