This is a Turkish M1935 bayonet which has been converted for the Turkish Army. In 1935 the Turkish authorities decided to standardise their weapons to a 1903 style rifle and 250mm bayonet blades. Some bayonets were newly made and others were converted as the Turks held many different types of weapon. This bayonet features the markings "AS.FA" for “Arisaka Fabrika” or ‘military factory’ stamped onto the pommel. On the reverse, is the number “11352”. The blade is fullered and is 250mm in length.

*Condition*

The bayonet is in very good condition for its age. The blade is excellent with a very light patina and some minor scratches and the grips are slightly worn. Please see pictures for more detail as they form part of our condition report.
