This is a prime example of a Russian hollow-charge round for the 1927 Regimental Cannon. This was a support cannon used by the Red Army infantry during World War II. 18,116 pieces were built and by June 1941, the Red Army had only 4,708 of these guns. This particular round is dated 1943.

The shell is in great condition with fair pitting on most of the surface. The case has bottom stamps and can be unscrewed.
