~ A Rare 1800 Dated East India Company Brown Bess ~

This is a fine musket. The lockplate is stamped with the gunsmiths name `Harrison` and with the manufacturing year 1800. The trade mark is visible as well.

This brown bess is a solid piece, made for a a soldier in the East India during a time of great conflict based around wars between Britain and the French.

It half cocks, cocks and releases with a strong spring.

The bayonet is included.

~ Dimensions ~

The barrel length is 40 inches (102 cm) and the overall length of the musket is 54 ½ inches (138 cm).

~ Condition ~

The musket is in good used condition with some surface wear to the metalwork.

The musket has some cosmetic bruising to be expected with its age.
