SKU: JA_436247851 Category:

Here we have an incredible example of a concealed weapon from approximately the reign of King George the Third when the smallsword was the chosen gentleman’s weapon.

This item is possibly a staff of office for someone similar to a bailiff or a sheriff that has been purchased to take a smallsword blade.

The blade is lovely with a hollow ground triform blade with exceptional balance (if a slightly ungainly grip) engraved with foliate designs.

~ Dimensions ~

The staff is 50 inches (127cm) long.

The blade is 27.5 inches (70 cm) long.

The sword stick weighs 610g.

~ Condition ~

The sword staff is in brilliant condition for its age with some wear from being gripped to the wood and metal cap and some very light pitting to the blade.
