This is a Second World War map and notes pouch.

The piece bears a significant number of marks.

The lid is marked on the face ‘Cpl. D.C. Haldenby’. The reverse is marked with the manufacturer mark ‘W &G (1932) LTD’.

Underneath is stamped ‘1942’.

More indistinguishable writing can be seen on the interior as well.

The piece comes with an inner pouch.
