~ Early 19th Century Pair of Old Paris Porcelain Spill Vases ~

This is a lovely pair of Old Paris Porcelain spill vases from around 1810/20 with unusual open bases which sport four winged lions heads and paw feet - no doubt inspired and influenced by Napoleon's battles in Egypt 1798-1801, serrated rim and hand painted pink and red flowers. Each piece has gilded detailing.

One vase is stamped with the letter 'W' to the underside.

~ Dimensions ~

Each vase is 5.25 inches (13.25cm) tall with a top diameter of 2.75 inches (7cm).

The total weight is 470 grams.

~ Condition ~

The paint and the gilding is worn and one vase has 6 cm crack and both pieces have nibbles around the base.
