~ 1940's Bentima Round Wall Dial School Clock ~

The white painted dial has black Arabic numerals and a spade hours hand. It is set within a rounded oak surround of golden and darker tones.

It has the makers name of "Bentima" just below the 12 o'clock position & "Made in England" just underneath the 6 o'clock position.

The case has the traditional salt box to the reverse to house the movement, it is of oak and laminated wood construction and is hinged to the clock face.

To the right of the salt box is a small access door and a further latch to release the face for accees. The clock comes with its pendulum and key.

Bentima was a popular brand sold widely throughout the UK in the 30’s and 40’s.

~ Dimensions ~

The dial has a diameter of 12 inches (30.5 cm). The clock has an overall diameter of 15 inches (38.1 cm) and a depth of 5.5 inches (13.9 cm). It weighs 2.53 kg.

~ Condition ~

The clock present very well with minimal scuffing to the oak. The glass is free from damage and the dial is pretty clean too.

It has recently been serviced and is in good working order.
