~ Four WWI Trench Art Candlesticks Of Brass & Bakelite ~
These handmade objects are made from brass shells, flared at the top and attached to Bakelite bases. They are crude but decorative items made during the First World War or just after.
~ Dimensions ~
The candlesticks measure 3 inches (7.5cm) in height. The bases of two of them measure 2 3/4 inches (6.9cm) in diameter, the other two 2 1/2 inches (6.3cm) in diameter.They weigh between 110g - 133g each.
~ Condition ~
In fair condition for their age and use, with slight scuffs and tarnishing. There is a small crack to the top rim on one (see photos for detail).
