~ The Kings Ships By H. S. Lecky 1913 -Three Volumes ~
The three volumes of the ‘The Kings Ships’ by Halton Stirling Lecky published by Horace Muirhead, London, 1913/14.
These three books were meant to be part of a set of six but due to the outbreak of war the other three volumes were never published.
They have a detailed history of the ships whose names then appeared on the Navy List in 1913.
The books are hard back in navy blue binding with a gilt script.
The books are fully illustrated with black & white photographs and have colour plates too.
~ Dimensions ~
Each book measures 9 ½ inches (24cm) by 11 ½ inches (29.5cm) by 1 ¾ inches (4.5cm). Each book weighs approximately 2.7Kg. The set weighs 8.3Kg so international postage will be quite expensive.
~ Condition ~
The books are in great condition. There is some scuffing and general wear to the outer cover in places. There is minimal foxing to just a few of the early pages.
