Eisenhower’s official post-war report titled “Report by the Supreme Commander to the Combined Chiefs of Staff on the Operations in Europe of the Allied Expeditionary Force.” Published by His Majesty’s Stationery Office, London, this important historical document covers the Allied campaign in Europe from 6 June 1944 (D-Day) through to 8 May 1945 (VE Day).
