Historical Note: The Bren gun was the British Army’s principal light machine gun of the Second World War, renowned for its reliability and accuracy. Magazines such as this were produced in vast numbers to support infantry units across all theatres of the conflict, from the Western Desert to Northwest Europe, and remained in service for many years after 1945.
