A solid brass waterline-form paperweight model engraved H.M.C.S. OJIBWAY – S 72 – SEPT. 1965, marking the submarine’s entry into Royal Canadian Navy service. Nicely cast with a streamlined Oberon-class profile and small conning-tower fin, typical of mess-deck or dockyard presentation pieces from the period.

Historical Note: HMCS Ojibwa (S72) was an Oberon-class diesel-electric submarine commissioned in September 1965, serving throughout the Cold War on Atlantic patrols, ASW training, and NATO intelligence operations. Decommissioned in 1998, she is now preserved as a museum submarine at Port Burwell, Ontario.
