*English Pewter Tankard – Hunts Benevolent Cup Winners 1952*
A mid-20th-century English hammered-finish pewter tankard, attractively crafted with a fully hand-textured body, rolled rim, and solid strap handle. The underside is stamped ENGLISH PEWTER, a mark widely used by good-quality British makers during the 1940s–1950s. One side is neatly engraved:

The 1952 engraving is clean and sharply cut. There is a notable dent to one side of the base, clearly shown in the photographs.
