An exceptional large-format framed display celebrating England’s victory in the 1966 FIFA World Cup, held at Wembley Stadium. The centrepiece is a red England commemorative shirt, hand-signed by nine members of the 1966 World Cup–winning squad, including Gordon Banks, George Cohen, Jack Charlton, Ray Wilson, Martin Peters, Alan Ball, Roger Hunt, Nobby Stiles, and Geoff Hurst. The shirt bears the embroidered crest: “40th Anniversary – 1966 World Cup Winners.”
To the left of the shirt are six original match tickets documenting England’s progress through the entire 1966 tournament: – England 0:0 Uruguay – England 2:0 Mexico – England 2:0 France – England 1:0 Argentina – England 2:1 Portugal – England 4:2 West Germany (Final)
To the right, the display includes an original 1966 World Championship (Jules Rimet Cup) Final Programme (England v West Germany, 30 July 1966), a Benham “British Football Heroes” First Day Cover signed by Sir Alf Ramsey and numbered 5916 of 7,500, and a colour photograph of the team celebrating as Bobby Moore lifts the Jules Rimet Trophy.
