~ c1918 Royal Dux Bisque Porcelain Shell Maiden Figural Bowl #598 ~
A hand-painted bisque porcelain depiction of a young woman in a diaphanous dress kneeling on a ledge over a pool with decorative leaves and flowers.
To the base of the figurine is the applied pink triangle reading ‘Royal Dux Bohemia’ surrounding the letter ‘E’ and a blue ‘Made in Czechoslovakia’ stamp. It is also impressed with the number ‘598’over a ‘4’.
