~ Victorian 9ct Gold Blue Glass & Pearl Brooch with Lock of Hair ~
This yellow gold brooch features rose gold decoration including a star motif within a circle to the centre, set with a small round blue glass stone and five small pearls.
The back of the brooch features a recess which contains hair, probably a lock of human hair, a memento of a loved one.
The recess containing the hair is not covered.
The brooch is marked for 9ct gold.
