HMS L52 was a late-model L-class submarine built for the Royal Navy during World War I but was completed in 1921, after the war. She was designed with six 21-inch bow torpedo tubes, two 4-inch deck guns, and a crew of 44.

Measuring 235 ft (71.6 m) long and displacing 960 tons surfaced, L52 could reach 17 knots on the surface and 10.5 knots submerged. Powered by two Vickers diesel engines and electric motors, she had a range of 4,200 nautical miles at 10 knots.

L52 was sold for scrap in 1935 but was wrecked off Barry, South Wales, before being dismantled.
