~ 9ct Rose Gold Hand Painted Brooch ~
A lovely antique brooch hand painted with a portrait of a young lady and child, mounted in 9ct rose gold.
The portrait is of oval form and depicts a lady in a purple dress and bonnet holding a small blonde haired child.
The brooch has a rose gold frame and is fitted with a pin clasp to the reverses with a delicate safety chain for extra security.
The brooch is marked to the reverse for 9ct gold and has a makers mark of ‘SK’. The hallmark is not a standard British hallmark so no date of
manufacture can be confirmed.

The portrait has a little wear in parts and some small scratches but still presents well. The gold frame is in a very good order with minimal wear.
