~ 9ct Yellow Gold Amethyst & Diamond Flower Head Ring UK Size L+ US 6 ~
A pretty ring of 9ct gold set with a single oval-cut amethyst and 14 small round-cut diamonds (3 are missing, 11 remain).
The stones are arranged in a flower head design with twelve of the diamonds surrounding the amethyst.
The stones are all claw-set onto a raised gallery.
The ring has a plain band with wide shoulders, each of which is mounted with a single diamond.
The ring is hallmarked inside the band for 9ct gold, Birmingham, 1990.
~ Dimensions ~
The amethyst measures 0.20 carats (3.5mm x 5mm).
The diamonds measure 0.01 carats (1mm diameter) each.
The ring is a UK size L+ which is a US size 6 (16.45mm inner diameter).
It weighs 1.4g.
~ Condition ~
Unfortunately three (3) of the diamonds are missing.
Otherwise the ring is in a lovely condition with minimal wear.
