The Crosman 2240 is a simple and reliable .22 caliber air pistol that has achieved cult classic status. It was launched in 1999. CO2, one powerlet, .22 cal., single shot pellet. It features an improved bolt design for easier cocking and loading. The rifled steel barrel ensures greater accuracy, and the CO2 power provided by the 12-gram powerlet delivers 460 feet per second of power. This pistol is excellent for target shooting, plinking, or dealing with small pests. Its ergonomically designed ambidextrous grip fits the hand for perfect balance and comfort, with checkering and a thumb rest on both grip panels. Comes complete with Brass Power Adjuster Accessories (as pictured).
ZOS 1x22x33 Speed Measure
A collimator is a device that produces parallel beams of light or particles.
Red dot sighting systems use a collimator to project an image of a reticle at infinity. In a sight, light rays from the source are reflected by the collimator lens into the shooter’s eye in a parallel stream. This means the shooter's eye does not have to be perfectly aligned with the optical axis of the sight; it only needs to be within the projection of the sight lens along this axis. As the eye moves, the aiming mark appears to move along the sight lens but remains on the aiming point regardless of the shooter's eye position relative to the sight. This open collimator sight features only a front lens in a frame, with the light source openly located on the base of the sight.
