*WW2, British, Green Khaki Plastic General Service button, with the coat of arms*
General Service button showing the British coat of arms. These buttons came out around late 1942 to save on brass which was needed for munitions. These were commonly found on greatcoats and ATS War Economy jackets and greatcoats.
