*Spanish M1941 Navy Bolo Bayonet with Ricchieri adapter for M1943 Mauser with matching metal Scabbard*
This is the Spanish-made Bayoneta Modelo 1941, designed for use with the 8mm Mauser M1943 short rifle. It served as a replacement for the earlier M1907 artillery bayonet and retained its sizable blade and sturdy crossguard, designed for cutting vegetation to conceal artillery pieces. However, it proved to be less effective for this purpose in practice.
The bayonet features a 25cm blade with the serial number 6217 E on the ricasso, along with the Spanish Toledo arsenal marking, represented by a Crown over TFN on the obverse ricasso. The pommel is in excellent condition, equipped with a blued Argentine Ricchieri adapter designed for mounting on a German K98k rifle, complete with an adapter pin. The crossguard, finished in dark parkerized coating, bears the marking "O." Additionally, there is a matching metal scabbard engraved with the same serial number, 6217 E.
*Condition*
