*British Infantry 1776 Pattern Officers Sword By G. Brown & Son*
The sword was made by G. Brown & Son 10/11 Princess Street, Hanover, Square, London. Double edged blade which is engraved along two thirds of its length. Gilt hilt with folding shell guard, lovely crown pommel and twisted copper wire grip. It comes with its leather scabbard.
*Condition*
The blade has minor blackening, the etching remains very clear. The grip is firm. The Scabbard fits nice and firmly and is in good condition with age related wear and tear. Please see photographs as part of the condition report.

The sword is 96 cm (37.75 inches) in length and has a 81.5 cm (32 inches) blade.
