~ Late Victorian Royal Doulton Tobacco Jar ~

A lovely lidded tobacco jar by Royal Doulton in subtle shades of brown, blue, green and cream.

There is applied decoration on a textured ground around the circumference of the jar with bands of decoration above and below. There is further appllied floral decoration to the lid.

The underside is marked and includes the ‘Royal Doulton’ stamp.

~ Dimensions ~

The jar has a diameter of 11cm (4 ¼ inches) and a height of 13.5cm (5 ¼ inches).

It weighs 565g

~ Condition ~

There is some wear to the most protuberant parts of the applied decoration and a small chip to the underside of the lid but otherwise in a very nice condition.
