The painting depicts numerous small vessels leaving Dover harbour with Dover castle in the background.

It is signed, titled and dated to the lower right.

The delightful watercolour is presented in its original glazed, gesso covered wooden frame with a single mount.

Please refer to the images for condition. The painting is in good order. The mount is a little grubby and the frame has a few chips to the gesso.

The frame is 34 cm (13.25 inches) wide and 18 cm (7 inches) tall.

The exposed area of the watercolour is 50 cm (19.5 inches) wide and 34 cm (13. 25 inches) tall.
