A pretty ring of 9ct gold set with a single round-cut amethyst and six small round-cut diamonds.
The amethyst stands alone in a thick bezel setting to the front of the ring.
The decorative shoulders of the band each have a band of platinum claw set with three diamonds.
The band is of slim plain gold.
The ring is hallmarked inside the band for 9ct gold with a makers mark of ‘DK’. The hallmark is somewhat worn, rendering the date
letter illegible.

The amethyst measures 0.50 carats (4.5mm diameter).
The diamonds measure 0.01 carats (just under 1mm in diameter) each.
The ring is a UK size P which is a US size 7 ½ (17.75mm inner diameter).
