This is a cup primed front loading spur trigger six-shot .28 calibre, manufactured to get round the Rollin White patent.

The 3 inch tip up barrel faintly marked on top flat CONN. ARMS CO. NORFOLK CONN. Cylinder marked PATENTED MAR. 1ST 1864.

The serial number 446 is stamped on frame under right grip panel and inside left grip panel. The brass or bronze frame has 90% nickel with around 30% on barrel and none on cylinder.

The walnut grips have nearly all of their varnish but both have chips out at the front shoulders.

The revolver has a pivot case ejector on right side of frame.

~ Condition ~

There is a tiny screw missing from the front of the grip frame, possibly a mainspring tensioner, which does not affect the operation of the pistol.

The grips have a chip on both sides.

The action is very tight and works as intended.
