A stunning brooch of 9ct gold purchased in Bond Street, London in the 1970’s.

The brooch consists of a large, marquise cabochon green agate stone in a decorative 9ct gold frame set with 8 small pearls and 16 seed pearls.

It is fitted with a pin clasp to the reverse.

The piece is fully hallmarked for 9ct gold, London, 1971 with the makers mark of ‘TAR’.

The larger pearls measure 3mm in diameter each.

The seed pearls measure 1.5mm in diameter each.

The stone measures 20mm x 15mm.

The brooch measures 37mm by 45mm
