A nice pair of mid to late 19th century leather bound brass binoculars, made by 'C.W. Dixey of New Bond St, London (est. 1798) Optician to Queen Victoria.

The binoculars are named to the eye pieces.

~ Dimensions ~

The binoculars have a length of 16cm (6 ¼ inches)and weigh 710g

~ Condition ~

The binoculars have a split to each eye piece and the leather is peeling a little but are otherwise in good physical condition with wear commensurate with age.

They are in good working order, and the optics are very nice, with a crisp clear view.
