A nice pair of mid to late 19^th century leather bound brass binoculars, made by 'C.W. Dixey of New Bond St, London (est. 1798) Optician to Queen Victoria.

The binoculars are named to the eye pieces.

~ Dimensions ~

The binoculars have a length of 16cm (6 ¼ inches)and weigh 710g

~ Condition ~

The binoculars have a split to each eye piece and the leather is peeling a little but are otherwise in good physical condition with wear commensurate with age.

They are in good working order, and the optics are very nice, with a crisp clear view.
